They met on Xbox Live playing Call of Duty! Lots of people meet online via dating sites or apps, but they met on a game! I just think that is such a fun story!
The Proposal : They went to Lake Tahoe for a snowboarding vacation. It was Ashley, Nathaniel, her parents, her sister and boyfriend, and her brother and his girlfriend and nephew. Ashley was really the only one wanting to snowboard the whole day so there were days she would go alone to get some runs in. On February 1, 2021 they took a small group to Heavenly Resort to snowboard. Theywent to the summit or 10,067 ft. (Did I mention Nathaniel hates heights?) Then they spent the afternoon snowboarding and enjoying perfect weather conditions! They went back to the Airbnb and got dressed up because they were planning on going to Emerald Bay to take pictures. Her whole family came with us, which wasn’t suspicious because she is pretty big on family. While they were there she remember everyone taking their pictures and she tought: “I finally I am going to get a good picture of me.” Next thing she knows she looks beside her and he is on one knee telling her how much he loves her. He asked her to marry him and she said “Abso-fucking-lutely”. Then they went back to the Airbnb and enjoyed a spread of Ashleys favorite food, TACOS!
Ashley + Nate tied the knot at Whispering Dreams Wedding Venue in Burgettstown, PA on a typical Pennsylvania cloudy fall day. The leaves were at their peak and the weather was cold, but let me tell you, things heated up on the dance floor!
