They all had their nails painted red.. When they remember their Grandma, they said she always had her nails painted that color and anytime they chose red so it always makes them think of her. Of course you know how much I love that being as sentimental as I am. That will be a story they tell when they show someone these images one day.
As I was posing them for a group shot, Mom says to me, “I wish I would have done this before my husband passed.” I teared up and told her my story on why I’ve wanted to do these sessions. I feel so honored to be living my why thru photography.
I look forward to working with the entire family this summer when they drag along their brothers and kids. I have a feeling it’s going to be a fun time!
