Photographing Women Over 40!
You’re going to start to see WAY more beautiful faces of women over 40 on my website and socials! You may have already noticed! I have found a new genre of photography that I LOVE and want to shoot WAY more of! I love working with women, I love showing the every day person that they are beautiful, I love celebrating the big and little things they have recently accomplished and I LOVE getting women in front of the camera because we are always so busy being the ones taking the photos of our family that we often don’t have photos of ourselves.
Some of us feel like we have lost ourselves a little over the years voluntarily putting ourselves on the back seat raising families, focusing on careers, caring for ailing family members, dealing with illnesses….the list goes on. You’re full of so much more wisdom now and I want you to get back into the drivers seat and get your groove back! I’m going to photograph you, coach you in how to pose, and create gorgeous images-because you still have it, you just need someone to show you! And that’s me! Hi, I’m Jen McKen and I photograph sentimental women who value people over things and maybe cuss a little! <3
If you’re over 40 and are reading this, leave one piece of advice for those under 40 to read below. Something that maybe you wish you could go back and tell your 20 or 30 year old self.
