Meet JohnieMarie + Evan!
I always ask clients how they find me. She said: “I fell in love with your photos when I saw them from my future sisters-in-law wedding. I’ve always knew since I have seen them that I was going to have you do my wedding someday!” She’s referring to Lauren + Luke’s wedding in 2021! I’m so honored that she’s remembered me since then and that I get to come back and do it for them! *gulp* The pressure is ON!
BUT, they are getting married at a whole different venue with a whole different vibe and I’m here for it! This place is AH-MAZING!! It’s called The Roost Event Center and it’s located in Mahaffey, PA. They wanted to go there for their e-session and I couldn’t have been more excited! Especially since those dramatic fall skies did not disappoint! The sun decided to make an appearance towards the end and it was perfect for giving them two different looks/vibes all in one session. The trees, the skies, the silk white dress, her bubbly personality, the venue…I mean, c’mmmon! Their November 2025 wedding is going to give off all the same fall vibes!
How They Met:
“When I was just 12, my grandfather tried to set me up with a boy whose family he bought beagles from. Back then, neither of us were interested & especially at that age. But every time my grandfather saw Evan, he’d say, “Boy do I have the perfect granddaughter for you!” Years later, Evan ended up going to college with some of my mutual friends. After a couple days of me telling my friends he was cute & some convincing I decided to reach out to him. And the rest, as they say, is history. I believe my grandfather knew exactly what he was doing, & I can picture him smiling from ear to ear as he watches over us.”- JohnieMarie
The Proposal:
“Well Evan made jokes nonstop about proposing to me which I thought were jokes and he was trying to trick me. I come to find out they were all true as we took a walk through the woods & he got down on one knee & asked me to marry him!”- JohnieMarie

“I’m really shy and get nervous in public, and Evan knows that. The other day, we were at Sheetz, and I went to use the self-checkout. Evan went to the next self-checkout pretending he didn’t know me, by hitting on me, asking if I had a boyfriend, if I came here often, & if he could get my number. I got super nervous and started panicking red faced. I quickly finished checking out and we both went out to the truck & we immediately were crying laughing!”-JohnieMarie
