Don’t Make Her Ask

Alright, Dads/significant others, listen up—fall is here, and with it comes all those magical moments that scream “perfect family memory.” Pumpkin patches, hayrides, trick-or-treating, and those cozy corn mazes are just waiting to be immortalized. But here’s a little truth bomb: Mom shouldn’t have to be the one to remind you to take that photo. She shouldn’t be the only one recognizing those picturesque moments, or worse, interrupting the fun to snap a selfie because, hey, she wants to be in the memories too!

Imagine this: You’re at the pumpkin patch. The kids are running around, faces lit up with excitement, finding the perfect pumpkin. It’s the kind of moment you want to remember forever, right? But if your wife is always the one behind the camera, she’s just a spectator—watching the memories instead of being in them. She wants to be part of those golden fall days of pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating and festivals too, not just the family photographer.

So instead of waiting for her to modestly ask, “Hey, can you take a picture of us?” or, even worse, seeing her pause the fun to awkwardly position everyone for a selfie, you step it up. Grab that phone, snap the shot. Better yet, offer to take it before she even asks. You know, get those candid moments—your kids climbing on the hay bales, her laughing as your little one tumbles into a pile of pumpkins. Those are the moments she wants to remember with you by her side.

Be the one who not only sees those perfect family moments but captures them—with her in them. That’s your new fall tradition. And hey, think of it this way—later on, when you’re both looking back at the photos, she’s going to smile and think, “Wow, he really gets it.” And that’s a win for everyone, right? 🍁📸   Happy Wife Happy Life….See, I’m just here to help! haha!

On a serious note, we just want to exist with our babies. They grow up so fast and we are usually always the ones recognizing the cute moments and snapping them of you, we just want to have some cute moments of us with our babies. These moments of them being young won’t last for long. Trust me, I already have one that is grown and out of the house.😭
