Every little girl needs to grow up with neighbors like Emily! Right next door to the house she grew up to are an awesome couple who have literally turned their property into a magical play space for the entire neighborhood! When I told Emily to try to pick a location for their wedding portraits that MEANT something to her, she immediately mentioned this awesome place! Within the property, there are little bridges, barns and out buildings and even a stage/play house. When she told me about it in person, I thought “Oh that sounds so cute”….but when I SAW it, I kind of squealed like a little girl! This place is soooo cute….and magical…for any little girl! 🙂

This place was perfect, not only because it held so many fond memories, but the rustic charm fit right in! BIG THANK YOU to her awesome neighbors!!!! I wish we could have shot here all day…but a storm was moving in…so we had to make it work! I give them a thumbs up…..and JAZZ HANDS! HAHA!!

I love the barn wood and the cute little bridge over the little creek. Yes I said CREEK…it’s NOT a crick! haha!

They stood in the middle of the Play House Stage where they spent many evenings performing for the neighborhood kids….and danced! You can see some of the props in the background! I’m so jealous I didn’t grow up here! haha!

There was even a mirror fo them to perfect their costumes! I love this shot of the way he’s smiling at her!

I had kicked out our audience of parents so that we could do some bridal photo shots inside of the stage area. This is their reaction to finding out they went out side to peek thru the window! haha!

The little white building was actually a pump house at one time, but the awesome neighbors made it into a little school house! Check out the inside! They surprised Emily and Nathan by writing a little message on the chalk board!
