I’ve never been one of “THOSE” people…you know, the “bitter” people that go on and on about how Valentine’s Day is just a Hallmark holiday and “why can’t you show someone you love them all year round “..blah blah blah. You’ve all heard it. I think it’s fun…and while some people decide to make it a Hallmark Holiday with store bought gifts, we’ve always loved making our own. So yes…..I’m that annoying girl who enjoys celebrating Valentine’s Day..neener neener neener! I also enjoy celebrating every other holiday!! SO…all of you bitter people…turn that frown upside down and go give someone a hug! The bitter bus is coming to pick you up… tee he he!

This year, our Valentine’s day cost a whopping $5…..and it teaches Mallory that it’s thoughtful to do something nice for someone to brighten their day and that you don’t have to spend a lot to do it. WIN WIN!

We gave Greg a “shhh..mack attack”. Mallory was in charge of picking out the lipsticks and we did everything around the “kissing” theme. We also put together a fish bowl of reasons we love him. It read “I love you because….” We took heart shaped paper and lip stickers and put one reason on each piece of paper. He had to pull them out to read them and then at the bottom was a bunch more Hershey “kisses”. We had fun…..and now we have a keep sake of reasons why we love him.
