They met when they were 14- May of 2005 on a cruise ship. Both of them were in the “teen center” and he walked up to her and asked if she wanted to see a card trick. Granted, the trick failed, but they became extremely close-even though he lived in Seattle and she lived here in Pennsylvania. After years of a long distance relationship and hundreds of phone calls later, he made a trip to her hometown to visit. During his visit, she could tell he was the man she would marry.
They were supposed to be married on the very day they met 8 years ago ….where else? On a cruise! And that was the plan up until several months ago but James recently decided to join the military so they switched gears and moved up the wedding and had it a little closer to home. Family and friends traveled from all over the US to be part of their big day….and I was honored to be asked to photograph it!
