She’s officially the football coach’s wife!!! And yes we did have some fun with the pig skin, you’ll see those towards the bottom! The one thing I LOOOOOOVED about Sarah + John is that they were so comfortable with each other and THIS made the portrait end of it go so smoothly! It definitely helped that they had an engagement session (that you can see here) which helped get the uneasiness about being in front of the camera out of the way. Their engagement session is among one of my favorite sessions to date. Make sure you check it out!

So onto the wedding portraits. Their bridal party was fan-freakin-tastic! We had so much time in between the ceremony and the reception that we took full advantage and walked around the beautiful gardens of St. Vincent Basilica and even had time for a game or two of football. Have you seen a bride run a few plays in a wedding dress………I did!! 🙂 She’s got some mad skills too! I guess it helps that her husband is a college football coach. And she didn’t even break a nail!!

The very last image below is the picture I talked about in yesterdays blog. Her grandparents were married in the basement moments before her grandfather had to leave for the war. We re-created an image that is very similar to her grandparents from all those years ago…..and I just LOOOOOVE the warm glow of the candles. Sarah….you.are.gorgeous!!!!
