Jen & Free | Blairsville, PA Photography { e-session }

I “thought” I had met her about 2 years ago for the first time to begin the planning process for “our” besty Maria’s wedding.  Prior to that we had never spoken and I didn’t know anything about her except for what I may have heard Maria talk about. They worked together and that’s how they met so I figured, hell, if Maria liked her, I’m sure we could get along.  It turns out that after we got to talking, we realized that we both attended the same college and had actually taken at least one class together. I was actually blown away that she even remembered that….so, in reality, it was the second time we had met! Anyway, as the planning proceeded and the bridal party and bachelorette party came and went, the entire bridal party had gotten to know each other pretty well. Now, we spend lots of evenings on the “Houser Deck and Bar” hanging out and laughing at Jess’s friends (just kidding-sorta!! ) LOL

Now, it’s HER turn to walk down the aisle and I was asked to shoot both her engagement session AND her wedding. I’ll be looking forward to it considering I remember how much fun we had at Maria’s.  🙂 A few weeks ago I had posted a few photos from a previous wedding. She wrote to me telling me how much she loved the look and feel of those two photos so when we met up yesterday to do the E-Session, I tried my best to fulfill her vision. They brought along a guitar to use in some of the photos near the lake. This will actually be the non-traditional version of the “guest book”. Each guest will be asked to sign the guitar-love it! Our next stop was down town Blairsville (a.k.a. Blairs-Burg) for some “rock star-ish” photos. As we were shooting, a woman came walking by picking up random beer cans. She proceeded to tell me that I was taking pictures in front of an ugly wall. I smiled and kept my mouth shut, but inside I wanted to scream……”I KINDA know what I’m doing…thanks!” Thank you random strangers for telling me how to do my job. Anyway, Free, you did an awesome job being an accessory. Thanks for putting up with all of us gals during the shoot, you’re a great sport!

So here ya have it, the sneak peek equipped with the video.
