I can’t count how many times we’ve journeyed to the Overly’s Country Christmas® over the years. I have fond memories of this place while growing up. This year was no different. We layered on the clothes, piled in the car and headed down to Westmoreland County. If you’ve never been there, the best way to describe it is….a holiday light display complete with a walk-through Christmas Village that’s filled with an array of old-fashioned traditions and treats..campfires, sled rides, hot coco, apple cider, a train display and the cutest little gift shop.
There’s still time to fit in a trip. www.overlys.com. Just a few words of wisdom…..take extra batteries for your camera, especially if it’s as cold as it was for us. My camera battery was drained after about 30 minutes or so. I was lucky to get what photos I got that night. Ohhh…and gloves….they are a MUST!

…….It’s Henny Hemlock: The talking Christmas Tree…..cutest idea ever!

Robin and her family who tagged along 🙂

Laura and Josh….who are getting married in a few months–WOOT!

……….and my Mom and Step Dad with my brother and sister and little Miss Mallory 🙂

……… kissing under the mistletoe 🙂

……yes it’s official, WE are dorks!!

…as we were leaving, we said the only thing that could have made the evening better was if there was snow. Low and behold, you can see it starting to fall as we were heading out through the tunnel of lights…………..”It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas” 🙂
