This week’s wedding features dogs in tuxedos, horse and carriages and lots and lots of fall leaves in the middle of August—WHAT??

Becky and Matt had their ceremony in such a special spot…..her grandfather’s property. I was this little quaint field with a break of trees. It was among those trees that they exchanged their vows. As I looked around and scoped out the location, it was very apparent that they had spent A LOT of time preparing the property for the wedding day. I’m told Becky’s brother did most of the hard work and that they worked with the local Amish to get the fall flowers and other decor early to create the fall atmosphere. They knew that they wanted a fall theme but because August is too early in the year, preparations started last year with gathering the fall leaves and pressing them, ordering pumpkins, fall flowers……it was beautiful!

She made her grand entrance in a horse and carriage straight out of a Disney movie……along with Binny, the poodle in a tux. 🙂 Binny didn’t like me much, he barked every time I tried to get his picture….I’m thinking it was the clicking noise….so I had to go ninja to get the photos. He’s been in the family for so long and he just simply HAD TO be part of the wedding day… tee he he

As you’ll see from the photos below….the day was a fairy tale. The family was fantastic to work with and I have a few battle wounds from the dance floor. 🙂 I’d mark it as a success. I’ll be working on the rest of the photos over the course of the next week. Enjoy the sun and sand on your honeymoon!! I give you the newlywed’s Mr. & Mrs. Elchin 🙂
