2010 Pittsburgh Irish Festival | Pittsburgh, Pa Photography | Travel

We got our IRISH ON and although my goal was to just relax and enjoy myself, I did snap off a few photos…..even though I was “off duty”.

I’ve wanted to attend this for several years BUT, I’ve always had a wedding scheduled on the same day. This time around I had no weddings scheduled, Greg was off and Mallory was itching to get out of the house so we decided around 2pm, that HEY….maybe we should just go and check it out. I’m a bit disappointed I didn’t get to see some of the things I had wanted to but we enjoyed a low stress evening at the Pittsburgh Irish Festival held at Sand Castle. My friend Robin came along with her kiddos so between us two families we played Irish games, visited the Irish dog arena, wrote on wax tablets at the Irish Living History Society and held swords at the Irish Brigade, the kiddos danced their little hearts out to the Irish music, ate some authentic Irish food and perhaps had a beer or two….but who’s counting. LOL
