It was FREEEEZING that day. Normally, I feel bad for the guys on the wedding day….it’ usually hot and they get sweaty and  miserable. This time around, the poor ladies had to deal with the freezing temperature….sooo I left the bridal party on the limo bus and stole the bride and groom away. I mentioned in a previous post that we stopped at a hot dog shop…yes hot dogs. Next to Tony’s Dog Shop, there was a bunch of high grass-I know this grass has a name but I’m not a green thumb and I have no idea what it was called…except that it worked out perfectly for our portraits. I want  you to know, BECAUSE it was so cold, we took these shots shown below in literally 5 minutes–maybe even less. I didn’t want her to freeze, and if you look at her, she’s working the camera….HAWT Dog. (My attempt at Hot Dog humor…haha)

Wedding Tip: I want to challenge all of the future brides to think out side the box. Pretty flowers, parks and lakes aren’t the ONLY place you can have your wedding photos taken-Where did you meet, What do you love to do together, where was your first kiss….let’s go THERE for some shots. I promise they will be more fun that standing by a bed of pretty flowers…..boringgggg. So, let’s chat…we can come up with a plan and make the most out of your portrait session. In their case, it worked out perfectly and had it not been cold, she may have chosen a different location. I just happened to notice this spot on the way to the church that morning and thought…Hmmm…..this would be awesome. Then after seeing her bouquet, it sealed the deal.
