You know the saying, “the shoemakers kids don’t have any shoes” (or something like that)……well it’s the same with photographers. Typically, I’m busy shooting and editing everyone else’s photos that on days it dawns on me that I don’t have any recent photos of my own offspring…let alone family!
This summer I am making it a priority to hire a photographer to have our own photos taken! Until then, I’ve bribed Mallory into taking some photos for me in new studio space. My lights haven’t come in yet BUT the thing I love most about my space is that there is so much natural light. So off we went with one of the new backgrounds and took a few shots.
<sad face> My little girl is growing up………….and feels quite confident in front of the camera I’m finding out! I told her she was my guinea pig for the day. After 1/2 way thru the shoot she says to me, “mom, why are you calling me a pig?”. Tee he he!
