Due to their late ceremony, the portraits had to wait until after. So we arrived the night before the wedding to check out what the location would look like around the same time. We scoped out the joint and had our game plan. Luckily, we were able to get a few of the bridesmaids and my second shooter Courtney was able to get a few of the guys before the ceremony which made the portrait part after the ceremony flow so much more seamlessly ….just one more reason having a second shooter is so very important. We were able to break up and get double the coverage. Future brides, chat with your photographer to see if the option of adding a second shooter is available or already included in your package…AND…discuss the timeline of when the portraits will be taken. Personally, I love when you are able to capture those images before the ceremony during a first look…but I’m a bit biased! tee he he Tara and Julien chose NOT to do a first look and waited until that moment at the end of the aisle to see each other…..
After the ceremony, we went straight outside to shoot in what available light was left and then inside to take advantage of the gorgeous Christmas decorations…ohhh AND the wine cellar. I have to say, I think the photos in the wine cellar are so romantic. *GUSH*
*thanks to my second shooter for the guy images! WOOT Courtney!
