tara + julien: the ceremony | taneytown, md photographer

Their ceremony was one of the most thoughtful ceremonys I’ve seen in a long time. It was held in the Glass Pavilion located at Taneytown’s Antrim 1844 Mansion as the sun was disappearing-it was that moment that it goes from day to night in a matter of a few moments-but it worked out perfect for a candle lit ceremony. Not only was it small and quaint with only the closest friends and family, but they also included a few special items into the program. Special music played by the lead singer of Moon Taxi played a song called “Cumberland” and let me tell you internet, he could PLAYYYYY-I seriously can not rave enough about it. Next was a reading in French called “Le Petit Prince” which was ready by the grooms brother and his girlfriend who have the most beautiful french accents. And lastly, they lit candles for everyone and pass the flame while the entire room sang “Silent Night”. It gave you the warm and fuzzies…and that’s not even how sweet the ceremony itself was. 🙂
