I drove to the Southeastern part of the Pennsylvania to shoot this wedding. As threats of Hurricane Sandy were plastered across all of the news stations…..this crew was partying it up and creating their own havoc on the dance floor! I can’t wait to show you those images….haha!! So let’s get to it….sorry for the photo-overload….remember, this is just a sneak peek! 🙂
How he proposed…….
Casey says, ” First off, I had no idea it was coming! My entire family knew what was going on, and kept it a HUGE secret!
I had recently started a new job, and had an absolutely terrible day. All I wanted was to go home, eat dinner, change my clothes, and go to bed. Of course, Scott had other intentions.
After going out to dinner, and getting back to our apartment, Scott stopped directly in front of me and said, “Gimme one minute.” I just looked at him and said, “What do you want?!” (All I wanted was to be left alone!) He then proceeded to propose… and I replied, “Oh, you’re not doing this…” and he drops to one knee. I then remember saying, “Oh shit, you really ARE doing this.” He then asked, “Will you marry me?”
Immediately, I began to cry and ran out of the room… without giving him an answer. About ten minutes later, when I regained composure, Scott said, “Well, you never gave me an answer.” I just laughed, and responded, “ABSOLUTELY!”
We laugh about this story often now…”

Casey’s Mom and new Sister in Law….at Spa Essence in Warminster, PA where the gals got ready!! 🙂 I think this was right around the time I knocked all the shampoo bottles on the floor with my elbow……….you can dress me up, but you can’t take me anywhere. I’m happy to announce that no bottles were harmed in the process! 🙂 tee he he

I looooved all the layers in her dress…it was gorgeous! Also we lucked out because the hotel room had all the colors in her fall wedding……WOOT WOOT!

The diamond is Scott’s Great Grandma’s. They had the ring custom made …… LOVE it!

Casey’s sister Cobie and her Mom helped her get into her dress….

“Scott definitely said “I love you” first. It was through a text message, while I was driving back home to Pittsburgh. (We spent the first seven months of our relationship in opposite parts of Pennsylvania. He was in Philadelphia and I was in Blairsville.) I cried immediately! I still have the message saved to this very day!”

….on her way to the “first look” at the Blair Mill Inn…….

This is my favorite part…..the anticipation. He kept saying…..”can I turn around yet, can I turn around yet?” 🙂
