Overly’s Country Christmas is part of our holiday traditions. (Here’s last year’s post) Every year, my parents, my brother and sister and our little family, pack in the car and take a ride down to the Westmoreland Fairgrounds to drive around and see the light display, to hang out with Santa, warm up near the bon fire, get hot chocolate mustaches, eat kettle corn and to find the Grinch….this year, that pesky little Grinch was following us EVERYWHERE…the kids sure got a kick out of it! We’ve been going every year since Mallory could walk….and Christmas wouldn’t be the same with our annual trip..this year was no different, except the the kids were a few inches higher! It’s so much fun looking back at each year’s pictures to see how they’ve grown. No matter how big they’ve gotten, they seem to always “act like kids at heart” when you’re in a Christmas village!

I love how mesmerized she gets when looking at the lights 🙂

When she REALLY laughs….her nose wrinkles! <3

That Grinch was EVERYWHERE we looked!! It was like he was following us around *wink wink*!

Our little family!!! I love that you can see Mallory’s hot chocolate mustache! haha!

There’s the hot chocolate mustache again!

Henny the talking tree……Henny is hilarious and the kids get a huge kick out of it!

Greg and I ….and the pesky Grinch…can you see him photo bombing our picture!?

He jumped on the train!

There he is again!

I love this one! <3

…..and this one!!! <3

I did always like those “bad boys”! haha!

There he is again stopping traffic!!

Isn’t this the best tip of the hat that you ever did see!!! 🙂

This is me getting ready to shoot a “surprise proposal” …that’s a whole other post, but it was soooooooooooo sweet!!!! <3
And of course, they had to grab a few extra brochures because they said they “felt famous”. My little brother and my daughter Mallory were on a bill board, their website and literature for Overly’s this past year. Look at how bit she’s smiling……chocolate milk mustache and all!! <3
If you haven’t had the chance to go yet, they are still open until January 1st. 🙂 You can visit their website here: https://overlys.com/
