I knew when I met with them that they were going to be an awesome couple to work with. In some ways, she reminded me a lot of myself when it came to their goals and their future. They met at a young age and while other couples were out doing what twenty somethings do, they were buying a house and really thinking about their future. They are so wise beyond their years and I see BIG things in their future!
They had a winter wedding at Chestnut Ridge in Blairsville PA with her younger brothers and sister as the wedding party, and an intimate ceremony surrounded by friends and family. It was gorgeous-just wait and see!
Her colors were whites and silvers with pops of purple at the reception! It was understated, simple, elegant and soooo her!
This image of the Shayna’s little brothers cracks me up and probably goes on my list of top favorites. I just love the emotion in this shot, it’s like they are devising a plan for world domination! I think they were actually laughing at their Dad’s reaction when Mom tried to pin on his boutonniere! I love it!

“Tyler took me to Baltimore over spring break on a surprise trip to go to the national aquarium. On the night that we got there we went out to eat at the Melting Pot. When we got back to the hotel we were standing looking at the view of the pier from our hotel room. Tyler told me how happy he was to be there with me and when I turned around to kiss him he had the ring pulled out. It was a complete surprise.”- Shayna
Their ceremony was held inside of Chestnut Ridge’s ball room. It was divided down the middle and decorated with trees hanging with crystals. The snow was falling out of the windows behind them…it was a perfect winter wonderland.
She got to walk thru the famous “gold doors” and the room was lit with candles…so romantic!
