I’ve been to a few weddings in my day……probably close to 200 at this point! I’ve seen days go perfectly and on the other hand, I’ve seen things go NOT as planned. It always works out in the end, but I have found that with a little preparation before hand, we can eliminate a lot of the hiccups throughout the day. I know wedding photography is an investment for any bride and you’re putting all of your trust into a photographer to capture the day how you always imagined it! This is why I make it a goal of mine to meet with my brides weeks before the wedding to go over their wedding timeline. You think your zip up dress is going to take you 10 minutes to put on?! haha…well, I’m here to snap you back to reality and tell you….yeah right!! hah! We sit down and go over the flow of your day and I tell you realistically how long things should take and we work in some wiggle time to play. Yes…play! Because if I don’t have the time to play, you don’t get as many creative portraits! I love that my brides trust me and about my recommendations and work in some free time before the ceremony to get some fun, sassy, classic images. You’ve invested a lot of money, let’s take advantage of it!
So the moral to my story is, to all of future and current brides…if you give me the time, we can play!! Alisha scheduled in some play time and she WERKED it!

Her mom (pictured above), made her veil……and it was gorgeous!!

RAWR!

Alisha, you were stunning!!!
