As I drove thru Amish Country in Smicksburg where Danielle was getting ready on the property of Windgate Winery, the sky was ominous. I’d hit patches of rain here and there and the forecast was so unpredictable the days before that no one really knew what the weather was going to do. But as I pulled into the lane where the Windgate Winery guest house is located, the sky started to open up and blue sky peeked thru. That’s when the steam rolled off the hills and made the colors so saturated and vibrant! I asked her to describe her wedding in three words and she gave me: lovely, relaxed and peaceful…..and I’m not sure that she could have gotten any closer to those on this particular day! <3
Later in the day, we photographed the two of them in the grape vines….they are gorgeous!
Meet Miss Ava and Miss Lila, Danielle’s daughters. I love how involved they were in the big day! <3
A little cartoon watching while the weather outside starts to clear up!

Miss Ava and Lila getting ready with Mom! <3
Tee he he! Kids will be kids! I have a photo just like this thru the screen door from when I was around her age…..so I laughed to myself as I took it!

This is when it gets real! Getting in the gown to do a first look!
Bow Chica Wow Wow Danielle!
….that moment he saw her for the first time as a bride! <3

Ferns, barn wood, gorgeous diffused light…..yay!!
And you all know how I LOOOOOVE to photograph brides and grooms with old cars!! WHOOP WHOP!
This car was perfect for a vineyard wedding.
This above image is one of my favorites! <3
I can’t wait to share their vineyard ceremony….think big trees, vineyard, vintage car…..yeah, you get the idea! <3
