2015 Brides + Grooms (almost all of them) | Indiana County, PA Wedding Photographer

Originally, I wanted to post a blog with some of my favorite images throughout 2015….but as I sat down to go thru them, there was just no way that I could choose one over the other, they all hold a special place in my heart and although sure some of them may have “better lighting” or “catch lights” or “better composition” the truth is, the technical stuff doesn’t make one better than the other…these are people’s memories ……of clients who chose to work with *ME* and for that I am humbled! I have a blog full of beautiful images that represent some of the most important moments of people’s lives and they chose to share those memories with *ME*?? <3  Let  me just say this…..the little girl from the trailer park sure has come a long way.  THANK YOU to everyone who had faith in me over the years! <3

2015 has been SO AMAZING to me…both personal AND professionally. Not only have I had one of my best year’s yet business wise, but I managed to plow thru so many personal goals along the way like paying off my house!!!  I spent my weekends with people in love and the week with clients who valued my work enough to schedule off work, who drove (and flew) great distances just to have me shoot their portraits. I’ve made so many friends along the way and have learned so much about myself….and as a result I have a blog FULL of gorgeous images, traveled to some amazing places..and next year is only going to be more amazing with a few things that I may or may not have up my sleeves! *wink wink*

But….it wouldn’t have been as successful without my partner in crime, my “build something on a drop of a dime man”, my second shooter, my right hand man…and the guy who puts up with all my shenanigans. He really does help things run like a well oiled machine and I’m not sure we’d be where we are without him….plus he makes me breakfast..s0 I think I’ll keep him! Love ya Greg! <3 I’m proud to stand beside him as she ventures off into his own adventure of building his own business….no it’s not photography related but I’m so proud of him for chasing his dreams! Not to mention, thanks to him (wink wink) that we are expecting an addition to our family in 2016 (you can read about it here in-case you missed it the first time around)!

So what are my goals for next year? Well it’s really very simple: to continue to surround myself with positive and uplifting people, to photograph people who aren’t afraid to laugh out loud! My motto is: “if it’s not broke don’t fix it” and surrounding myself with upbeat and positive people worked for me the past few years…and hell, they are so much fun to be around! A few of my personal goals is to really be in the moment with my family and create lots of memories as a family of 4, continue working out and living a healthier life style and have a HUGE glass of wine after this kid comes out…but the biggest one is to collect experiences and not things! I’m pretty good at this already, but it there’s always room for improvement! <3 I see lots of adventures next year!

I know there are the “half-glass-full” kind of people and then there are the “half-glass-empty” kind of people……well, I like to think of myself as the “I’m just happy there is something *IN* the glass” kinda person. So my wish for you is that you all have something *IN* your glass in 2016 (mine will be non-alcoholic!) ….and that you kick butt on whatever you set out to do! 2016 Let’s do this! *jazz hands*

Cheers to a New Year……….and may you laugh often!! <3

I wish I could post a photo of ALL of my clients (family, senior, newborn/maternity) but I’m afraid that it would be HUGE blog post and I’d get in trouble by the blog police for posting too many photos! haha! To my 2015 brides you were everything I could have ever imagined! You trusted me to document one of the most important days of your lives and that takes a lot of trust….and for that I will forever be grateful! I’m not sure how I’ve been so lucky to get so many down to earth, laid back, go with the flow brides…..but DAY-UM, you guys have been amazing to work with!! It really does boil down to the relationship you have with your photographer, I mean, brides spend more time with ME then they do with their own husbands on the day of the wedding……if we get along and could be friends outside of the wedding day….your images are going to be amazing! I’m so lucky to have found so many new friends! <3

To all of my brides that have already booked for next year…..I.can.not.wait!!!! <3
