I know you’re not going to believe me….but she’s turning 50! And the only thing she really wanted for her birthday was a 50’s style shoot so we made it happen! They drove several hours out of state to stay at The Balter House in Polymath Park in Acme PA. If you’re not familiar with The Balter House, the home was designed by Frank Llyod Wright’s apprentice, Peter Berndtson. The home is nestled back into the woods near Falling Water and it’s integrated with its natural surroundings. It’s one of their favorite places to get away and I was so thrilled when she reached out to me! Although the home was deigned in the 60’s, it still had enough of that 50’s vibe to make the shoot work….along with her wardrobe and a few authentic props, we had so much fun!
We had lots of props…but my favorite one was her husband! He was fantastic!!
Total hotness!!

I love the shot of her reading Life Magazine.
I mean, c’mon….she rocked that camera!!

Steffie, thank you so much for reaching out to me! It was a pleasure to meet you and your husband and get to work on such a fun project for you!! I hope they are everything you imagined they would be….maybe better!! <3

Jen, can’t thank you enough for making this happen. Meeting you was such a joy and I am overwhelmed by your talent and passion.
