I think everyone was nervous with the weeks leading up to the wedding about the weather! Pittsburgh weather can be so unpredictable and I’ve learned not to count on the projected forecast too much because it can change momentarily. That week the forecast was calling for rain-nothing new from the past several months and even with a back up plan in order, I could tell she was praying that it would clear up so that they could have their outside ceremony at beautiful Heinz Hall Garden in downtown Pittsburgh. She got her wish! Not only did it not rain but the sun came out for the duration of their ceremony……and literally RIGHT AFTER the ceremony ended, the sky opened up and it began to rain-as if it was waiting for the perfect timing! It was absolutely perfect!
I love that Heinz Hall Garden is located right in downtown and is this lush little area with the city buildings towering high above.
How cute were the flower girls and the ring bearer! They walked down that aisle like they do this every weekend! haha
I’m a sucker for the Dad photos! <3
The rock wall behind them is typically a fountain with water pouring down the rocks….but for the purpose of the entire wedding party and the guests, they turned it off so that everyone could hear the vowels.
I love that when she got nervous, she played with the rings on her hand! <3
Officially Mr. and Mrs. Scott!
A short walk across the street to the Fairmont Hotel for the reception…..it was gorgeous! So simple, elegant and timeless-exactly what she was looking for.

I’m telling you, this girl never stopped smiling!
Everyone’s speeches including the one from the Groom were hilarious-whether they meant to be funny or not, everyone was cracking up!
Father/Daughter dance.

The Elite Show Band had the dance floor hopping the entire night. One of the best wedding bands I’ve witnessed in a LONG TIME!
Beth and Justin, thank you so much for trusting me to document your day! I can only imagine how fun the “after party” was! haha!
