I am so excited to share this post mostly because Suzanne was so incredible to work with, there is so much emotion and it was such a fun day! Just wait until you see the dance moves at the end! haha!
In case you missed the first blog post, you can check that out here.
Tell us about the proposal:
” Nate proposed on May 8, 2015. That evening they had planned on catching the sunset at Yellow Creek State Park and maybe fishing a little. After they arrived, and found a spot, they decided to fish. Suzanne is not that great of a fisherman, so Nate always casts out her line for her. He casted one out for her as she was chatting away and then he went to get his own pole and casted it in a different area. He told Suzanne to come over to where he was because it was nicer over there. So, she went over and then Nate knew that he had to cast out her line. He asked her to reel his in and that he thought his was stuck on a piece of trash. She did laughing at how he was stuck to a bottle. She reeled it in to find that the bottle had a message in it. After many screams and tears she of course said yes, just as the sun was setting and reflecting off of the water.”- Suzanne
Her dad was so emotional….I think it’s what every bride hopes their daddy will be like on their wedding day!
” Nate said “I love you” first. Before leaving to go home for Christmas break, our sophomore year of college, we were saying goodbye, and as we were saying goodbye he looked me in the eyes and said “Hey, I love you.””- Susanne“We are both very “go with the flow” type of people. We try not to take life too seriously, and to have fun with everything we do. Even a simple trip to the grocery store is always full of laughs and smiles. “- Suzanne
Tell us where you’ll be in 20 years:
“20 years from now hopefully we will be lounging on a beach drinking margaritas and getting our tan on everyday.
But really, we hope to have some awesome kids, and a great life with friends and family around all the time. “- SuzanneSuzanne surprised Nate with the El Camino -his favorite car! Can you see my reflection?!
Tell us 3 random things about yourselves:
Suzanne- I could sell ice to an Eskimo. I love cheese. Like I really looooove cheese. I also love my cat Rambo, he’s great.
Nate- I can play the ukulele. I love to create cool art using my wild imagination. I hate Suzanne’s cat Rambo.Tell us a funny story about the two of you:
“On our second date, we were watching a movie at Suzanne’s apartment. We were cuddled on the couch, and Nate’s gum accidentally fell out of his mouth and into Suzanne’s hair. Nate didn’t tell Suzanne right away and tried to get it out without her knowing. He surprisingly succeeded, and told her after he got it out. I love this shot ….sun flare!
Off to the reception….
The first dance. Her smile is contagious! The speeches…..which made you laugh and cry all at the same time. The Bride and Groom surprised their guest with a video from Grandma who wasn’t well enough to be at the wedding.
