Chestnut Ridge wedding reception-Blairsville, PA
If you missed yesterday’s blog…you can check that out here.
Their reception was straight out of a magazine! I asked her what vibe she was going for, she said: “Simple elegance. My colors are ivory, gold, and a hint of light sage green. Pastel-ish flowers, succulents & greenery.” I think he NAILED it! Kudos to Courtney and her planners from Wanderlust Weddings & Events
Venue: Chestnut Ridge Resort
Flowers: Flower Gallery
Cake: Four Oaks Bakery
Love Seat provided by Vintage Alley Rentals Pittsburgh
I’m in love with the chairs!

The cake was AMAZING!! I had a slice of the chocolate peanutbutter……to die for. It’s one of the perks of the job! haha!
We had snag a shot of the Bride and her Groom in the ballroom before quests filtered in.

We hopped on a few ….ok A LOT of golf carts and quickly did more portraits out on the golf course.

I love her smile in the image on the right.
She teaches dance…it was only appropriate!

The whole gang!
I love the fun socks!
The grand entrance into the Chestnut Ridge Ballroom!

She had the best Maids of Honor and they gave such sweet toasts.

…and they had a sense of humor. My favorite!!! See that gal on the left, I get to shoot her wedding next year! BOO YA! That means Courtney had to put up with me one more time! MUWAH HA HA HA

I love Chestnut Ridge for it’s windows in the ballroom. It makes for a grand first dance.

I always get choked up during the father/daughter dances. *sniff sniff*

I had to put this one in! hahahaha! And below………dun dun dunnnnnn THE BRIDAL DANCE!!
Everyone gets a shot, they put mula in the bag and get to dance with the Bride. So much fun!

My once piece of advice for Brides and Grooms…..make some time to sneak outside during your recpetion (when nothing important is going on) for a few night shots. It’s ALWAYS worth it! It’s a nice way to end a wedding album as well! We just happened to be blessed with a pretty sunset and we were able to catch it before it was too late.
I’d like to give a little shout out to Hannah…..my human light stand! haha!
