First thing is first: if you want to keep up with future sneak peeks of their e-session, make sure to follow my business instagram page (www.instagram.com/jenmckenphotography). I post images there before anywhere else. Go over and leave them some love!
I loved their engagement session so much that I had to split it into two parts…mostly because I had WAY to many favorite images AND we went to two locations. The first location: Romeo’s Pizzeria & Mediterranean Kitchen a restaurant located near IUP college campus. Why you ask? Well……because it was the first place these two met when friends of theirs set them up! When we met to go over some wedding information and we started to talk about the engagement session, I suggested we go back to the place it all started!
These images may not mean anything to anyone else…but some day when they have Grandchildren, they will be able to point to these photos and have a story to tell. To actually show them where they met and all those years later when things look different it will bring back so many memories. Oh, the stories they will tell! As cheesy as it sounds….we aren’t shooting these photos of you….we are shooting these for your Children and Grandchildren…..to show them where they came from, who they came from. God, I love my job! I document family history! How cool is that?!
BIG HUGE THANK YOU to the owners of Romeo’s. They gave us permission to go into the restaurant before they officially opened for the day and let us get some images without having a room full of people!
I asked them where they set on that date……and made them sit there!
How damn cute are they?!
Can I tell you how in love I was with her dress?
I love how happy and colorful it is inside of the restaurant.

The bling! Good job Michael! *wink wink*
I HAD to do something with these palms outside of the restaurant. I love me some color.
You’d never know it was blazing sun and SO SO SO humid outside!
I’m not sure he can smile any bigger! <3

Some day when the front of the restaurant looks different, when the signage looks different …….they will have THIS to point to! Gahhh all the feels!
Stay tuned for engagement session part two: Twolick Lake . If you want to keep up with the sneak peeks, head on over to my instagram page (www.instagram.com/jenmckenphotography) where I tend to post there before anywhere else! Go leave them some love!
