The view is even more gorgeous at sunset…as you’ll see in the last image. It was the first time I shot a wedding reception at Veltre’s Wedding and Event Center and I was pleasantly surprised that they have floor to ceiling windows overlooking this gorgeous view. At night when the lights start coming on below, it twinkles and it’s so pretty!
I’m told that Veltre’s was recently remodeled. I love the white ceilings and the chandeliers. Lots of glass…and lots of sparkles. The white table clothes and white chairs get a thumbs up in my book.
I tried the bruschetta….it was delish!
The maid of honor speech was very entertaining. Considering she was a theatre major and sang…it was like a musical! Tears were everywhere!

I’m a sucker for twinkle lights.
I was able to sneak them outside during the reception for a few evening shots. These are my favorite….the light is always gorgeous this time of the day. We found a little field on the side and made some magic happen.
As the sun was setting, I snagged these…and then….
BOOM! I’ve mentioned this several other times but I’ll say it again: Jen McKen future brides, let’s make some time at your reception to go outside for a few shots. It’s always worth it! <3
