Cherry Runn Lodge + Fairman Family Farm Fall Wedding | Emily + Tim

They started the day off at the venue Cherry Runn Lodge in Homercity, PA and ended it with their reception at The Fairman Family Farm in Shelocta, PA! It was the perfect fall day. The leaves are just starting to change, the temperature was mid 70’s and the sun was shining-basically every Bride’s dream when planning a September wedding!

This is the second wedding I got to work with their family for! I shot her big sister’s Ashley’s wedding a few years ago. THAT was equally as good of a time! These guys sure know how to celebrate!

” Tim moved to my school in 8th grade, but it wasn’t until 9th grade that we actually interacted. We got placed in the same reading remediation class and anytime there was partner/group work he would always choose me to be his partner. Mostly because I would do all the work, but one day he decided to give me his phone number and the rest was history! I remember being so mad to be in that specific class, but without it who knows where we would have ended up!”- Emily

Tell us about the proposal….

“Tim decided to take me on a date night to the Walnut Grill, so good there! I wasn’t going to agree to have us go because there was other things we needed to do that night, but when I talked to my parents they encouraged me to go. So we went to eat and the plan was to go home and watch movies, but Tim wanted to show me Mount Washington at night. We drove up there and he was fixing his socks in his boots and when I turned around he asked! I was so shocked (and awkward), I said yes and proceeded to knock the box out of his hand :)”- Emily

Emily- 1. my favorite animals are cows

2. I love running ( want to do the Pitt 1/2 Marathon!)

3. I eat buffalo chicken dip with cucumber slices

Tim- 1. I’m from Blanco, New Mexico

2. I love to watch Football, baseball and hockey (Go Pens!)

3. I love to drive across the country and see the scenery when going to see my family.

Tell us a funny story about the two of you…

“When Tim would get grounded, he wasn’t allowed to visit so, he would wait until it was the middle of the night and walk over to my house to see me 🙂 I think he was grounded for like three weeks too lol.”- Emily
