It was the first and only place they looked at when searching for a wedding venue. Take a look, you can see why.
She walked out of the doors of the 1830’s Marcraig House down the beautiful red brick walkway with her Dad. Guests sat in white chairs and the rain had just stopped which meant all the natural colors that surrounded them were just intensified. (fun fact: it’s what they do on movie sets, wet down the ground to make it more saturated). It was a little iffy with the weather. It had been raining on and off all morning and even while we were trying to do some of the portraits, but right as they were saying their vows, the sun shined thru as if it was scheduled perfectly to do so. All of those clear umbrella’s she had bought days before anticipating the rain weren’t even needed.
After the ceremony, cocktails on the private back patio where guests could take in the beauty of all the peaceful nature trails before dancing the night away (ohh there was dancing!) in the pond-side pavilion near the big sturdy willow tree! Guests traveled from near and far…and from down under to celebrate with Courtney and Kyle. They made me feel like part of the family, I’m so honored they asked me to be part of it.
