Much of the East Coast was experiencing a unusual heat wave during the week of Elena and Bryce’s wedding. Temperatures were feeling hotter than 100 degrees with the combination of heat and humidity and that meant lots of bottles of water and hand fans. But there wasn’t one single complaint from the wedding party even the guys who had to wear the suits. I’ve been to weddings in the past where the temperatures weren’t nearly as hot as it was that day and guests chose not to attend because it was simply to hot….but Elena and Bryce had a full house! They danced the night away, played yard games, shared cigars and ate LOTS of cookies! They are loved by so many and it showed.
It was a beautiful wedding. My favorite part was that Grandpa was able to attend. Although it was a little harder for him to be at the ceremony, he watched from the window and it gave me all the feels.
