I was driving to their home for their shoot, trying to count the amount of years (and times) I have had these guys behind the lens. I basically feel like I’m part of the family! haha!
I’ve photographed every big milestone of their lives since their engagement photos -which by the way was back in 2012. That’s 12 years of knowing these two! They were high school sweethearts so we went to Marion Center High School and shot images in the very hallways and classrooms that it all started. Next was their wedding, the baby announcement, the maternity photos and a bunch of sessions in between. I photographed their grandparents in a generational shoot, I photographed Mr. Rhett when he was born, I watched as they built their dream home and got to literally document the process thru images and shoots. We shot sessions on the property way before the foundation was even poured. We’ve gone back to some of the same places over the years to recreate some of the images we’ve taken in the very spots and it’s been so sentimental. Rhett is so lucky, he has no idea that his mom has documented some pretty amazing things in his life!
I’ve watched like a proud big sister as they have built such a beautiful life over the past 10 years. I proclaim myself as an honorary family member HAHAHA! But seriously, I’m more proud of them then they’ll ever know!
