I’m slowly catching up on blogging all of my senior sessions. Recently had the pleasure of photographing Emily’s senior session. From her energetic personality to her fabulous style, here’s a peek into her world and what made this session so special!
Meet Emily: The Nomadic Trendsetter 🌍✨
Emily is not your average high school senior. With a love for travel, food, and family adventures, Emily is always on the go. Whether she’s exploring new places or trying out the latest culinary delights, she’s all about living life to the fullest. You can probably find her at a sushi restaurant.
You might remember that Emily’s mom was a previous client of mine, and when Emily decided it was time for her senior photos, she knew exactly who to call. She loves my style and wanted to capture her unique personality in the same way.
A Day in the Life of Emily 🏐🌟
Emily is about to graduate from Greensburg Central Catholic, and she’s been busy making the most of her high school years. She’s played volleyball and soccer and has a ton of extracurriculars under her belt—Director of Communication for Hungry Free Hearts project, Vice-Principal of the Interact Club, and member of multiple honor societies. Phew! Talk about impressive.
And guess what? Emily’s future plans are just as exciting. She dreams of becoming a nurse, hopefully a travel nurse, so she can combine her love for healthcare with her passion for travel. Couldn’t get cooler than that!
Music, Style, and Fun Vibes 🎶👗
Emily’s music taste is a perfect blend of classic rock, country, and acoustic vibes. From The Beatles to Taylor Swift, she’s got a little something for everyone on her playlist. And her style? It’s all about keeping it fresh and fun with favorites like Free People, Urban Outfitters, and PacSun. She’s not tied to one look—she’s all about experimenting and having fun with fashion.

For Emily’s session, we decided on a mix of natural and candid shots, which totally suited her laid-back style. She chose to have them taken at her grandparents’ house in the mountains—talk about a breathtaking backdrop! How lucky was she to have grown up and have so many memories in this place.

- She’s a sushi aficionado and can even make her own sushi at home.
- Emily’s into sewing and crocheting—she’s basically a crafting queen.
- She’s traveled to Italy, France, and London with her school and plans to explore Greece next.
