(if you’re new here) This is year 15th year of photographing the First Day of School photos- the 3rd for Levi. This tradition started WAY back with Mallory on her first day of Kindergarten. When she graduated, I put together a book for her on all of her first days over all the years and I intend to do the same thing for this little guy. I document the morning of the first day of school like a lunatic mom. But I own that title…proudly.
This is the first year he told me he didn’t want me to cut his sandwich in half. This is the first year Mallory wasn’t here because she’s a grown adult doing “adulting” things. This is the first year he didn’t choose a character book bag. *sigh*.
I can tell you one thing, boys are definitely less fussy than girls. I remember Mallory spending so much time trying to fix her hair and picking out her clothes…homeboy could have cared less. I also love seeing some of his little quirks in the photos. I’m so thankful I started this little tradition. AND I say this every year, I’m sure some day he’s going to hate me for these…but it’s a right of passage, Mallory had to put up with me so he will too! haha!
