If you’re a regular, you know I’ve been doing this post EVERY SINGLE YEAR since Mallory was is Kindergarten. It’s just a tradition and now it starts all over again with Little Man! And the answer the #1 question I get, “Will you still do this when she’s a senior?” You bet your sweet ass I will and I might even pop up in the bushes for her first day of college! hahahaha! #OnlyKindaKidding #WhenYourMomIsAPhotographer

I’ll say this….THAT went much better than anticipated! ALLLLLL summer, Levi told us that “school is not for me” and any time the topic of school or Kindergarten got brought up would immediately get all worked up and refuse to talk about it. So imagine my surprise this morning when he got right on the bus with zero problems. I was fully prepared for a shit storm. haha! Let’s hope that it remains that way for the rest of the year!
I still can’t believe that I have an 11th grader and a Kindergartener-one on each end of the spectrum. I was also surprised that I wasn’t as emotional this time around. When Mallory started school I was a hot mess, this year, I was more proud than sad. And let’s be honest….Mama needs some free time! hahahahah!
2021-2022 is kind of unique:
#1. Levi and Mallory are both in school-even if for only 2 years, I have two kids in school at the same time.
#2. They are starting as a new school name and mascot. They are no longer the Blairsville Bobcats but the school name has changed to River Valley Panthers. New name, new colors and new people in their classes.
#3. Even though she rode the bus today (mostly to show Levi that getting on the bus wasn’t scary) but it will be the last time she rides the bus to school. Now that she has her liscense she’ll be driving to school more often.
#4. We’re still dealing with the pandemic and making adjustments to the way things “use to” be.
I can’t wait to hear alll about their days! Fingers crossed Levi loves it!! haha!
