Diesel, Don Julio + ‘I Do’
When I first met Emily + Jesse last fall for their engagement session, we had the dreamiest Pennsylvania skies and the cutest sidekick Diesel, their sweet black lab who totally stole the show with his little “Lee’s Est: 2025” bandana. That session told me everything I needed to know about these two: they’re easygoing, fun, and absolutely smitten with one another. I left that day already counting down the months until their wedding.
This past weekend, that day finally arrived, and it couldn’t have been more perfectly “them.” The ceremony took place at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Homer City, honoring tradition with heartfelt vows and tear-filled smiles. But just when everyone thought they knew what to expect, Diesel made his grand entrance as the official ring “dog.” Tail wagging proudly, he trotted down the aisle with the rings before heading off for a nap, leaving guests grinning from ear to ear.
After the “I do’s,” the celebration rolled into the Indiana Country Club, in Indiana PA, where wee met full-on fun. And let me tell you, their crew knows how to party. Somewhere between rounds of Don Julio and blasting Pink Pony Club, a bright pink stick pony made its appearance on the party bus. Yes, you read that right….a pink pony. There are photos of people riding it down the aisle of the bus like it was the Kentucky Derby, surrounded by cheering friends in sunglasses and champagne in hand. It was hilarious, unexpected, and absolutely unforgettable.
Congratulations, Emily + Jesse! Wishing you a marriage full of as much love as your ceremony and as much laughter as your pink pony party bus.
