I plugged my Iphone into my computer today to back up all my pictures I’ve accumulated since October. I try to do this often because I’m a horder of sorts…..of images. Some of them are funny, some of them are pointless but they all have a meaning (at least to me)….and for me, it’s a visual diary of my shenanigans. I’ll be traveling a lot over the next month and half, for business, personal and to shoot a wedding (Hayyyy Tanya!!!) so I wanted to clear my photos off my phone to start with a fresh empty folder…and I thought I’d share a few randomnesses (complete and utter randomness) with you.

If you aren’t familiar with Instagram, here is a blog post I wrote a while back with some random photos I posted. If you are familiar with it-then you can understand my obsession! It’s such an amazing platform. People can post pictures and videos on there and other people can like and engage with them. If you’re just starting out on Instagram and you don’t have the best engagement, it might be worth looking at this Upleap review. That helps people to experience better engagement on their posts, allowing them to grow their accounts more effectively.

So here we go………….

The slow winter season allows me to put my feet up-I’m not complaining! Every once in a while, I’ll find a cute little note like this one around the house….yes, we keep it classy, it says “Love Baby Daddy”! Greg is helping Mallory on an artistic masterpiece. That’s me and Christina…don’t we look scared?! Her and her fiance flew down from MASS for me to shoot their engagement session in Pittsburgh. That night we all met up at Fright Night at Kennywood. GOOD TIMES!!

Look Ma….I can do a toe touch…which resulted in a pulled hamstring and a blown out back! LOL The travel crew for Ireland. We met up at the Airport in New York..this was our first group shot! Mallory says good bye every morning to Gracie thru the window…it’s a ritual! The last shot in this group is a street shot from Dublin on our to our hotel from the airport.

While in Ireland, we often took the laptop out to look for “hot spots” for free interent. We found a spot and set up shop in the streets of Dublin so that we could say goodnight to Mallory. We drove a red van around Ireland with no GPS–only old school maps. Erin and I at the Guinness Factory-LOVE IT! A fun tree that I was obsessed with at the Blarney Castle in Ireland.

The first image is the base of the Blarney Castle in Ireland…and yes we kissed the Blarney Stone!! Ireland was FULLLLLL of rainbows. We never found the pot of gold…but we sure got a lot of pretty pictures! The ocean shot is a cost along the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland….so serene! And the last picture cracks me up….while we were at Dingle Beach…..Erin found berries! YES we are immature! LOL

and of course we couldn’t visit Ireland without visiting the Cliffs of Moher…A-MAZING!!!! You see that number that’s circled? Yeah….that’s how many miles we drove in 6 days! We covered a lot of land and that’s me holding the map to visually show you all the land we covered while in Ireland!!! And the next image…completely random shot of Santa on his “break” checking out the sparkly stuff at the jewelry store in Monroeville. It was our first Santa sighting for the year.

I learned to pick my battles with my 7 year old when she was picking her outfits out for school. I have some to the conclusion-what does it hurt if her clothes don’t match……so she’s my little Punky Brewster! That’s Greg and Mallory having a staring contest. I can’t remember who won..probably Mallory because she always cheats. That’s poor Gracie, she had a “girly surgery” this year and she hated me so bad for about 2 weeks. I’m happy to report….she’s all better now! And lastly in this set, is Mallory and I sharing a milkshake……brain freeze!!

I was cleaning out from under my bed and found 6 remotes…..I guess you can call me a Control Freak!! That’s Greg behind the table. This was our set up for Breakfast with Santa this year at Chestnut Ridge Resort. It was a success…and only 6-7 kids cried! LOL That’s me hat shopping…..and that’s Frisbee our Elf on a Shelf..he got into some major shannanigans this year.

Thanks to awesome-sauce clients of mine (Matt + Amanda) we had a family day at the Carnegie Science Center. Mallory had a blast and she slept so well on the way home! The next picture was us getting ready for Santa to come. Baking cookies, making reindeer food and writing the list for Santa. And that black dust bucket at the bottom is Greg’s newest toy/project. It should be up and running before spring. 1968 International. It’s a bit different from his lime green mustang but hey..it will make for some good photo shoot pictures. We’re thinking…bright red!

Mallory wrote us a little note to warn us from eating her cheese puffs…..haha. I visited my Great Grandma this past month. She has dementia and often times doesn’t understand who we are. On this day, he was feeling rather well and I got lots of hugs and kisses! And the very last image…..is from the Three Rivers Casino. We won $500 on a penny machine….WOOT. Look out Vegas, we’re coming for you in 5 more weeks!

So there ya go….complete and utter randomness! Wanna follow me on Instagram? I’m “jenmcken“……..send me a hello!!!
