Sometimes I look at her and I can see the care-free little girl…the 7 year old. Other times, I can’t help but get a glimpse of what she will look like when she’s 18…..

This is my daughter! The little girl that almost died at birth…..our miracle child! I look at her and I can’t imagine what life would be like without her. I mean sure, sometimes she makes me want to bang my head off of a brick wall, sure I get frustrated…but in all honesty, I can’t imagine what it would have been like if the doctor would have said, “I’m sorry” instead of “Congratulations”! I can’t wrap my mind around the fact that she ALMOST wasn’t here. For those of you who don’t know, Mallory was born just over 1 pound about 10 weeks earlier than her due date. 7 years later…she’s healthy, full of life and energy!

While on vacation in Punta Cana, I had to pull a few teeth in order for her to let me take pictures of her. As soon as I say, can mommy take your picture, she give me “the look”……as to say, SERIOUSLY…AGAIN?! But after a few bribes she usually cooperates! These were taken over the course of our vacation…we roamed around the resort finding “cool spots” to shoot in! Some of them I came up with…and some of them SHE came up. She’s got quite the eye…..I guess I kind of rubbed off on her! tee he he!

the shoe kick……all her idea! tee he he

bright cheerful colors EVERYWHERE!

She said when she wore this dress on the beach….she kind of felt like a mermaid!

I see the 16 year old on the right….sigh…my little girl is growing up!

The obligatory flower in the hair photo! 🙂

I love the green! These two photos were actually shot in the same location. One during the day….one at night! 🙂 No flash!

Can you see the “seriously?’ look on her face on the left photo! ha!

I wish the fence around our pool looked like this!

Love…. hair ties on her wrist and all! 🙂
