I know I’ve said a million times that I have some of the sweetest couples….but dang it, I seriously mean it! These two have been absolutely amazing to work with! She was so incredibly laid back and were probably one of the most appreciative Brides and Grooms I have had the honor of working with. I am so fortunate to have met you two….and thank you SO MUCH for trusting me to document your day! Below are a few of my favorite moments, but trust me when I say, it’s just a drop in the bucket! 😉
So who did the two of you meet?
“We met through a mutual friend who was my Zumba instructor and his friend from highschool. I went to dinner with some girls from the Zumba class and the instructor, Denise. Jason happened to text her that night and asked her if she could “hook him up with a friend”…. I was the friend. I really didn’t want to say yes because it was just so random but I told her that I would be friends with him on facebook (lol). He became my friend on facebook and we talked every night for about 2 weeks on the phone (for like 5 hours a night) before our first date on December 17,2011.”- Nikki
And this image above, is her opening the gift he got for her…it was a print out of their very first conversation on Facebook! I’m pretty sure it was one of the sweetest gifts ever!
“We are TOTAL nerds! We love to build Lego’s (we buy each other Lego sets for anniversaries and have Lego parties!), we play video games, go for rides (to look in peoples houses like creepers!… not really…. well, yeah really!) and we are always up for a good movie date with cherry coke and popcorn!”- Nikki
Speaking of Legos….check out their ring box below!
How did he propose?
“We had discussed getting married for awhile and I had been waiting…. and waiting… and waiting. I was convinced he wasn’t going to do it on vacation with my family because Jason does not like that much attention on him. So he compromised and decided to do it the last night we were there. He asked me to go for a walk on the beach (its was drizzling and cold)… I said “no”… But he talked me into it. We got on the beach and it was so foggy you couldn’t see anything and he asked me if I wanted to walk a bit… I said “no”… it was foggy and creepy. Then he started saying lots of lovely, beautiful words that ended in him on one knee with a ring…. I said “YES!!!!!!!” It was perfectly imperfect!!! and memorable… good thing because I was in sweat pants and had no makeup on so the pictures are awful!! “- Nikki

This is probably one of my all time favorite “first looks”. Because they are a blended familly, they wanted to include the kids on their first look…..and it was absolutely adorable!
Describe each other using 3 words:

A few bride and groom photos before their ceremony…which was absolutely gorgeous!!
Their wedding party….these guys were amazing to work with!
When we met, she told me all about her ceremony. It was going to be a dusk and she wanted the room to be glowy and romantic! I’m pretty sure she nailed it…the up-lighting, the candles, the live music..it was sooo romantic!
Here comes the bride……fierce! 🙂
