I’m kind of excited to have shot in a new Pittsburgh venue called Hotel Monaco. It’s a new luxury boutique hotel housed in a striking 1903 building in the Central Business District across from Mellon Square Park downtown Pittsburgh and everywhere you look there are these playfully bold designs! Not only did they rent a beautiful suite for the guys and gals to get ready for the ceremony but they also held their wedding reception there……and as you’ll see in the images below-it was gorgeous! It was quite different from the engagement session that we shot several months before that was outdoor and rustic!
I love the bird cage light behind the dress…..so much fun stuff throughout the hotel.
A few finishing touches before heading off……
….to the chapel to get married! EEEk!
They had their ceremony in the gorgeous historic First Presbyterian Church in downtown Pittsburgh just blocks from Hotel Monaco.
Wedding Tip: The church is absolutely stunning inside but they also have VERY strict rules as to where the photographers can and can not stand. Brides, if having a variety of images is important to you during your ceremony, please be cautious of this when choosing where your ceremony will be held!
Mr. and Mrs. Tomb!
I also want to give a shout-out to my second shooter/a.k.a. friend Amanda Wilson, she came along with with me and snagged a bunch of really awesome angles I wasn’t able to get! She’s pretty rad! 🙂
A few Bride and Groom portraits around the First Presbyterian Church after the ceremony. She told me she wanted it to feel like a fairy tale…….I think we covered that! 🙂

I love this image!!
We headed back to Hotel Monaco for a few more images of the Bride and Groom before heading back into their reception.
And let’s talk about how gorgeous their reception was. They brought EVERYTHING you see on the table up with them from Texas and decorated the room themselves with some help from the family and bridal party.
Travis (who happens to be a former Groom of mine) had the crowd rolling with his best man speech.
There may have even been a few tears!
Did someone say cake?!
I love this moment between Eli and the Brides brother!
Let’s get the party started!!!
There ya have it folks…the sneak peek into Elsa and Eli’s wedding! I’m pretty positive they had an amazing time! Everything was gorgeous and I haven’t seen a Groom look at his Bride like the way Eli did in a long time! <3 <3
