These photos make my heart sing…and it feels so weird to say, “these are my children” as in plural because there was a long time in my life that I thought we were done having kids, so seeing both of my “children” in one image just makes me go weak at the knees. There is quite an age gap between them, almost 12 years to be exact and posing an older sibling with a wee younger one can sometimes be hard but I love how these turned out. I had all of 15-20 minutes to capture these before she was off to spend the night at a friends house (typical pre-teen) so I kept my fingers crossed that little man would cooperate so I could get at least one good shot for a canvas BIG on my wall. I hit the jackpot and got MANY good shots for BIG up on the wall!

He nailed it. He didn’t fuss one time and big sis is so used to getting her photos taken she cooperated just fine. Little Levi will soon learn-if he hasn’t already- to always have a camera pointed at his face! #photographerkidproblems

These were all shot in my studio in Blairsville, PA.

Seriously…….look.at.them. He looked right into the camera….I have him trained already! Mallory is always pulling her hair into a ponytail because she hates her curly hair…but I told her it’s gorgeous and requested she leave it down. She’s growing up so fast, it’s so hard to think that she was even smaller than Levi at one time! The cutest thing is, when she doesn’t realize we are paying attention, she cuddles him all up, but when she knows we are paying attention, she acts all cool! haha!

I’m looking forward to many years of memories with these two…I’ll take them all, the sleepless nights, the good days, the bad days….I’m just happy to finally feel like our family is “complete”! <3
