I have thoroughly enjoyed shooting these teen sessions lately! I love that we get to show off their personality at this age. Think about it…(I’m just as guilty) but Mom’s, you take lots of photos when they are little and “cute” but once they begin to approach the pre-teen or teenage stage, we tend to take less photos. It’s like the “forgotten stage” and then the next thing you know it’s their senior year and time to schedule senior photos. So there’s this huge gap in between that isn’t documented……I want to fix that! This is such a vulnerable age and sometimes we need to show someone how beautiful they are thru someone else’s eyes.
Meet Rachel! She’s 11 years old. She is easy going, funny, she plays basketball, loves to swim and will talk your leg off as I found out during our shoot! haha! Even though the shoot was all about her, she managed to turn the ipad camera on me and give ME photography tips! (I’m not kidding, look at the last image!)
Mom tells me she had a blast and is already planning her next shoot! Mission Accomplished!
Mom picked out this blue jean top and tulle bottom…she says it matches her personality to a T!
